Sketch-O-Meter

I Love sketching in coffee shops.

usually, the sketching is accompanied by some coffee.
I call this coffee: COURTESY COFFEE

The reason for this is that the only reason I get it,
is that I feel bad to just take a seat without buying anything.

Problem is, that if you sketch a lot...

It can become expensive...

Aaaaand of course there are other implications...

One day I decided to break from my habit, and sketch COFFEE-FREE.

I snuck quietly pass the Barista...

But Baristas are like dogs...

They can SMELL your fear.

I sat in a quiet corner in the back, hoping to not get noticed.

It wasn't long before the rest of the hounds sensed  my coffee-free table.

And they were NOT pleased...

I tried to keep it together...

But the pressure was too high.

and then, just when I was about to break...

BRILLIANT!!
How did I not think of  inventing this sooner?!!
The solution to all my problems!
No more wasting money and gaining salted-caramel-calories!

Ohhhhh the possibilities!! I was grinning from joy.

But then, just when it seemed like everything is perfect...

I just couldn't resist...

  5. I used to be immune to the courtesy coffee effect (back when I was young and rude) but I have since reformed and bought coffee out of politeness. Just politeness.

  11. :D Oh Avner :) Such shared experiences. Great stuff. You forgot about the guy that does the sneak glances at your work pretending that he's not really trying to look by acting like he's doing something else. Happens to me all the time.
